Hi! My name is David. Glad to see you around! Since you got here, I think it is high time to introduce myself!

I graduated in Translation and Interpreting in 1999 and in 2000 I began my professional career in the field of internationalisation. I have been working in internationalisation for 15 years, a period in which I performed different tasks and positions – international trade department in a company, international promotion services and finally working on business international cooperation in the framework of European-funded projects.

Translation accompanied me throughout this period as this was one of the many tasks I had to handle on a daily basis. However, in 2015 I began my journey in the field of independent, professional translation, under the trade name Transfrontera. From that date on, I provide language services in translation, sworn translation, revision and post-editing in the language combinations English, French and Spanish. Moreover, I provide training services of Business English and French and consultants teams support in international consultancy.

An essential element that has fulfilled me as a professional is my training and teaching facet. In this area I have been working at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, in charge of courses in legal and economic translation, and on the creation and teaching of legal translation on-line courses for Translastars. Training is a rewarding activity as you help people to grow personally and professionally, and at the same time, they help to make you grow.

Last but not least, I cannot forget my collaborations with IdeasPropias Editorial, a publishing house for whom I have created some handbooks on business and commercial English: international trade, logistics and textile industry.

And this is the experience and the career I am offering to my customers for the provision of professional translation services.
